This is the main Campus Notes UI. It's where you write, manage, organise, upload and define which notes you'd like to share. This is just an example note. Click anywhere within it to edit or click the delete icon down the bottom to get rid of it and start fresh.
To edit a note's title, just click the title above the dates it was modified. To edit the name of anything in the sidebar just double click.
Sharing
To share a note click the little world with a plus sign next to it in the footer. To stop sharing it just click the icon again. Viewing your shared notes and finding the URLs you can give out to friends can be done by clicking the world icon in the top right of the header.
Formatting
You can use Markdown syntax to format your notes. It's very simple, easy to learn and is a lot faster than clicking through menus. Just edit this note to view how things like these work in Markdown:
- Here's the beginning of a list
- A bold list item
- An italic list item
You can even put format things like quotes like this:
> Writing with a pen on paper is slow, laborious and creates static content you can't share, modify or organise. Using Word to take class notes is like taking a Boeing 747 between classes, complete overkill and it creates more problems than it solves.
Organisation
Campus Notes supports full drag and drop. To move a note to a different class or semester just pick it up and drag it there. To add new stuff click the respective icon in the footer.
